ENTERING THE CREATIVE WORLD
Hello parents, and teachers here's an insight of what your child can be expected to see in our arts based room. Our aim is to enter the creative world, and by doing so here is what you can expect in our class rooms!
Our classroom will be set up like a world map, where the children are able to see the different countries in the room. We will be having props, such as having a globe hanging down from the ceiling, tables section into different parts of the world, flags hanging across the room, items that represents each countries, so that children are able to recognize the different items and able to question what they are.
We will also have an entrance at the door, which will look like their entering in a plane. They will each be having their own passports, which they are able to get stamped on by the teachers. As they enter the room, they can go to different 'countries' where their friends will be sitting at, and they can get their passports stamped. Our concept relates to children knowing their identity and other identities, so we want the children to feel like their traveling around the world, seeing the different cultures that they haven't seen and interacting with other children to get a better understanding of who they are.
